Once upon a time, long ago...

On a dusty shelf,

in a gloomy corner

of the maisonette apartment.

There sat a small, thirsty houseplant.

Yearning for a drop of cool water.

But its owner had forgotten it,

betrayed it,

and flown off on his long-awaited tropical vacation.

Without leaving the plant even a single drop

of the longed-for elixir of life

it had dreamed of for so long...
